It doesn't seem to me as though the private sector has faired any better than the public sector in the identity politics race to the bottom. Unless we are expecting someone somehow to start bringing the shrinking number of self-made SME owners, that have so far resisted the madness, into government before they flee to tax havens, then this is all castles in the sky with potentially another five years of a party that despises business in charge.
